[QCWA] A Blast from the Past

I went to qrz.com and did a search for DiBlasi and found John S, W2QNR.  After exchanging e-mails, I found that John is the son our one of our founders and the first QCWA president, W2FX. He sent me about 30 pictures and a 1953 QCWA Yearbook.

I've completed scanning in the material.  Most of them appear on 2FD's (W2FX original call) SK page http://www.qcwa.org/2fd-sk.htm  The yearbook is at http://www.qcwa.org/1953/1953.htm  

Many individual scans from the yearbook can be seen on links from the the Founders, Presidents, General Managers and Living Charter Members page.  With call signs being reissued and some of the names being very common, this is the only information we have on some of these earily QCWA members. http://www.qcwa.org/presidents.htm

Another result, I'm pleased to announce that John DiBlasi, W2QNR has re-active QCWA member # 05401.  Welcome back John!
