[Qcwa] Fall QSO Party

Hi Paul,

Well - I did work Al W4ARM for one (I bet he has more contacts than all of
us put together!) and like you, never heard W2MM on any mode or band.

The CA QSO Party was furious this year. I spoke with Prez Croft before he
left for Dallas and he said the Board may consider changing the QSO Party
weekend to another time when it will not conflict with the CA. But as you
know - it is difficult to find a weekend with a decent "hole" in where some
kind of contest is not taking place. Oh well - maybe next spring will be
better?

As an aside to my comments - I did persevere long enough to make 62
contacts (not contact points). I have only been participating in the QSO
Parties since both modes were combined. I did not realize at one time there
was a separate weekend/month for CW and Phone. This makes good sense and is
familiar with other kinds of contests in where CW and Phone are held on a
different week/month.
