[Qcwa] Dallas - Day 3 & 4 ( State Fair & The Grassy Noll)

Linda and I ate our way through all 270+ acres of the State Fair of Texas
in Dallas.
I'm talking corn dogs, hamburgers, nachos, funnel cake, ice cream and much
more.

What a view from the top of the Texas Star, a 200+ feet high ferris wheel
that has been
in operation since the Texas Sequetenial (150 years) in 1986.

Today we had lunch at the Reunion Tower with a fantastic view of Dallas and
the surrounding
area, even the Fort Worth Skyline.

Then we went to the  Dealy Plaza.  Very interesting  but not as moving as
the Oklahoma Memorial
we saw last Saturday.

On the way back to the motel, we stopped at Whataburger for a midafternoon
snack.

I hope I can get some rest after the the convention starts!
