Bob, I tried send a message to you at the address shown on the QRZ web site,
but it bounced.

Can I have your e-mail address?
I hate to bother the whole group with another message.

A few things you should do when you change your call sign.

1. If your e-mail is call sign based like mine [email protected]
     a. add the new e-mail id with your email provider
     b. change the profiles of all the reflectors you subscribe to
     c. change all forwarding e-mail if you have them,
ex.. [email protected] or [email protected]
     d. notify key people in your address book of the change
     e. notify any webmaster that has you data on a web site
     f. remove your old e-mail after 30 days

2. Notify all Amateur Groups you belong to so they can update their
records,
include your new call and e-mail. Also a good idea when you move.

3. Change your e-mail id on http://www.qrz.com and
    http://buck.com/cgi-bin/do_hamcallexe

4. Do these steps for any clubs that your the trustee for also.

I feel left out. It seems that everybody and their brother has been
changing callsings
faster than Liberachi changed outfits these days. All I can point to in
my history is

Don't feel lonesome. I am still using my original call sign. Now when =
someone says that they can not find my call, I say that they got the call =
wrong. It seems that many hams want to make me a WB as there are so few =
WD calls.

Thanks for the very important reminder, Bob. Also I'd like to remind
everyone to put a
paragraph in your Last Will and Testament to the effect that your Executor
shall notify
the secretary of all organizations of your passing and to send your amateur
license to the
FCC for cancellation.

Jeff,
Don't feel alone Jeff, I have only used one call sign for 38 years.
WN6ODR / WB6ODR
Although, when I moved to Arizona I would not have been disappointed if
I would have been made to change to the 7th call area. I would have
tried for a neat vanity call sign I think.
