I received email from both Mr. Walsh and Mr. Croft that the action was 
cancelled. It was not, however, cancelled due to any concern about 
member's privacy, but rather because it turned out they "didn't need the 
money." No guarantee it won't happen again.

I have notified QCWA to expunge my data and cancel my membeship. I have 
been a Life member for 20 years, but this is unacceptable, arrogant lack 
of concern with the membership.
