1. June 1, 2003: Chapter 91 flies its banner at the Manassas Hamfest

2. May 24, 2003: Bill Cross, W3TN, speaks on recent FCC activities
   ---------------------------------------------------------------
   It begins:  "President John Johnston noted that an invitation arrived too
   late at the FCC to make the necessary arrangements, so the traditional
   FCC forum could not be held at this year's hamfest in Dayton, OH.
   Instead, Chapter 91 will be the first to hear Bill Cross, W3TN,
   representing the FCC's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, on"  topics
   too numerous to mention here.

In addition, the file "Jun_03_aliens.rtf" has been added to the folder
"W3BE's The Rules Say..." within the "Folder of Downloadable Files."

This article, which covers the FCC's rules regarding alien control operator
privileges, first appeared in the June 2003 issue of Auto Call published by
the Foundation for Amateur Radio (FAR).

Also, all reports and photos from events occurring during the first quarter,
2003, have been moved to a separate archive file with links from the main
page.  This should cause the main page to appear much more quickly on your
monitor, while making these items readily accessible.
