The great majority of them are VERY active on the air Jeff. I've been a
member for a few years now, and although I don't have hard facts for you,
that's my "feel" of the nature of the organization. We FISTS work hard to
promote CW activity and teaching through the use of awards, contests,
special operations, and the "Code Buddy" program.
