Hi Harvey,

Your absolutely right.  But it's almost the closest thing to a
slashed zero that's available and most web browsers
handle it properly.  hamfont ( like arial or courier font) has
a slashed zero '�' but can only be read if hamfont installed
on the computer.   Hamfont is 2 zip files about 65K, send
me an e-mail if you want them.

You may ask, "why is the slashed zero important?"
In the great scheme of things it isn't.  Being a former
radio operator in the US Navy and a licensed Ham
in the Zero district since Feb 1962, I've grown rather
fond of them.
