William McGregor Boppart, 93, of Kansas City, MO, died Thursday, January =
2,
2003, at St. Luke's Hospital. =


Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2003, at St.
Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Frien=

may call from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church. The family suggests
contributions to the Visitation Catholic Church Building Fund. =


Mr. Boppart was born June 3, 1909 in Kansas City, MO, to Joseph A. and Ma=
ry
McGregor (Walker) Boppart. He was part owner of Boppart Greeting Card
Company, 12th and Main that was founded by his father, March 6, 1889. He
was a 93year member of Visitation Church where his parents were founding
members. Bill was also a graduate of Rockhurst High School, a ham radio
operator (W9CQE). He served in the Army Air Force Signal Corps during WWI=
I.


Bill was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas H. Boppart, John
Boppart, and Joseph Boppart and two sisters, Bertha May Boppart and
Marguerite Boppart. He is survived by two nephews, Henry Boppart and John=

Boppart; four nieces, Jane Boppart Schleicher, Mary Ellen Boppart Crowe,
Anne Boppart Mueller and Kathleen Boppart Cashman; and a cousin, Eleanor
Brinkman Blaufuss. =
