I tend to buy things in pairs.

I have a pair of Icom IC-761A transceivers, and the attendant accesories 
to go with
them. Next step is to get all the HAL terminal units set up for dual 
diversity operation.

I also have multiple radios in the vehicles for 144, 220 and 440 operation.
I have a pair of dedicated 220 crystal radios for packet radio operation.

And, just for laughs, both vehicles are equiped with 100 watt siren/PA 
units.
