Great HF Stats - what about the other three bands on the 847 (6M, 2M and 70
CM).
From here in Central FL (since 3/93) - got 230 wk'd/ 227 conf on 80-10 M
have DXCC on 10, 15, 20 and 40M (50wk'd / 45 conf on 80M)
as to 6M have 91 wk'd 88 conf and just need KH6 for WAS on 6M.
The station here runs all bands from 160M - 13CM CW, SSB, FM, AM, RTTY,
PSK, WSJT and if the Financial market picks up a bit Hope to ad 3CM this
January.
Mostly Icom here (+ transverters for the higher bands) IC 756 Pro,
IC746, IC 735 ( 10 M IF Radio for 144, 222 and 432 MHz Transverters) IC
290 H (2M IF radio for 903, 1296 and 2304 MHz transverters). Plus assorted
amps for more juice on all bands (QRO forever - Life is too short to waste
time in the pileups). Lots of Aluminum in the air helps too.
Why the SHF bands? Its a challenge and they're there. Its not like the
point and shoot of HF operation.
CU on the bands es VRY 73.
