Greetings Everyone!

OUR APRIL 16th, 2003 LUNCHEON MEETING PROGRAM 

We have arranged for guest speaker Al McNeil, VE7BJA, who will be speaking
on an interesting subject. His topic will be on "Tropospheric Scatter Radio
Systems". Glancing over Al's biography, I would suggest that with his
background this program will be very interesting for all ages. See you all
there! 

BIOGRAPHY - AL MCNEIL, VE7BJA 

Got basic Amateur certifcate in 1958 and advanced in 1960. Have had
callsigns VE4MD in Churchill Manitoba for two years and VE7BJA since 1960. 

Have resided mostly in the lower mainland of BC. Have been a past member of
BCFMA (BC FM association) and Burnaby Amateur Radio Club. Currently a
member of CARA in Calgary. 

Have worked in the Telecommunications field for 45 years starting in the
Royal Canadian Navy as a Radio Operator and the last 40 years in the
Telephone industry, 35 years with BC TEL. Presently work for Sprint Canada
as Regional Network Operations Manager for Western Canada. Will be retiring
to Vernon BC in the fall of 2004.
