Thats the impression I had also......they have a Signal Corps museum =
there of sorts.

I also tried to get historical data on the 17th Signal Service Co which =
was the outfit that ran WAR during WWII......I was sure that there would =
be a record in view of their great contributions but there was =
absolutely nothing except an entry that they received a commendation for =
their performance etc.

Too bad that their efforts early on to develop new and better modes of =
communication were not documented.
