Hi Bill
There is something that you could ask about. I am a relatively new
member, Aug 2001, and the web site still has me listed with the wrong
call sign and the call area listings dont appear to have been updated in
about a year and half. I have been told twice now that I am not a QCWA
member as my call sign does not show up in the proper area. I am listed
as WD4DBC and my call is WD5DBC. And just to be clear, WD5DBC is the
only call sign that I have ever held. I have the emails from HQ where
the "corrected" this if you need them.
It seems to me that the web site listing should be updated more often
than every 18-24 months, how about every six months?

Uh Bill......
What was the request?
WD5DBC
**********************************
Thanks for asking, Howard. I see now that my request to the "general
membership" of QCWA might be less than obvious, given that the original
communication was between just one member and me.
As a member of the board, I will be attending the BOD meeting in
Orlando in
October. I would like to go to this meeting armed with ideas and/or
suggestions from QCWA members (or chapters). For instance: How can we
make
QCWA more attractive to potential members? How can HQ better serve the
chapters? Is the QCWA web site in need of revamping? Can we become
more
involved in public service - if so, how? Should the "reflector" be
utilized
by the officers in order to keep the membership up to date? Etc, etc,
etc............................
I hope that this answers your question, Howard.
Cheers! Bill McGrannahan, N0ZL
