I'm glad to do it. I just wish I was better at this HTML stuff. Yep, that system really
goes way back. We were chatting with some of the old timers about the original
days of AARS and one told the story of the operator being made to operate in a dug
out (Ala WWI trench) with a rotting horse carcass. Said it was to simulate "war"
conditions! Poor Horse!

Had a nice Hamfest in St Paul last weekend. We set up an Army MARS/ Civil Air
Patrol Table for the first time in a while. Met a few young guys who were interested
in doing "something" to support the guys in uniform. Which is (I suppose) how I got
interested. Sure are a lot of odd ducks at these things however. I sure wish they
could take all the non related stuff out of the flea markets. Anything Electronic I
don't mind but what is all this jazz with Belts, and craft show stuff? I guess I
shouldn't kick I bought CDROMS full of Old Time Radio shows myself and I'm not
sure what that has to do with anything.
