You can use some very cheap standoffs from Radio Shack, if you=
think
the wood might get wet. The really cheap 300 ohm standoffs will=
work
quite nicely for this purpose. They just get the wire away from=
the
wood. If everything stays dry, there is no problem with staples.=
If
you get moisture, use standoffs.
