I don't know the answer to the question posed, but I worked the VE session
at Hamvention. We had so many examinees, we had to add an extra test
session on Saturday. Amateur radio is alive and well! Do not believe the
Gloom and Doom naysayers who claim The Sky is Falling! Preliminary count is
we gave exams to 265 people. Make it fun and people will come, like flies
to honey.

Subject: [Qcwa] QCWA Membership
Is QCWA membership increasing, decreasing or staying the same?
I'd really like to know the same for ARRL and for amateur radio in general.
With the ten year license term, it is pretty hard to tell just how many
living amateurs there are.
It would also be nice to know how many living, licensed hams have equipment
and actually get on the air.
Can anyone provide answers?
