Gentlemen:

	It is an interesting question, Larry, W0AIB, poses.  As a brand
new QCWA member, just qualifying this year, I, too, would find it
interesting how QCWA fares this next year or two.  Because I made the
jump to Amateur Radio from the seeds of the CB boom of 1976-1977 (and
glad I did), I suspect a very large proportion of the currently active
ham population will become eligible over the next few years.

	To that end, it might benefit QCWA to be prepared for a greater
than normal influx of new members over the next 24-36 months.  I may be
wrong, but I, for one, was very happy to finally qualify, and I suspect
others will be too.
