[Qcwa] 5 and 6 meter fun

I remember ditching a Heath Sixer on a neighborhood chum hoping that
listening to the gang on 50.4 MHz would interest him enough into getting his
ticket.  He lived just one house down and I could hear a distinct rushing
when he switched on.  The Regen hissing back out the antenna?  Of more
interest I could faintly hear him speaking when he was near the radio and
yelling.  As in saying "I'll be right down" when the dinner bell was rung.
I suspect he had a Microphonic tube.

I reported this to him thinking maybe he had a microphone connected and
warned him about the fines and jail time for transmitting without a license.
He assured me he not only didn't have a microphone but I was crazy.  I told
him to yell into the radio when he got home and I would report what he said.
Most of what he said I can't repeat but it was a clever use of only 4 letter
words used to describe me and my Ham Radio activities.  When I phoned him
with a report of what he said he met me at the backyard fence and returned
the Sixer.  He didn't like to be snooped on even if it was unintentional.
