I think it is fascinating that suddenly, when for the first time this list 
has some activity, many are unsubscribing and/or complaining because of it.

I think I will start a new list. Call it "/dev/[email protected]" All 
posts go automatically to the trash, so there is no mail on the list 
whatsoever. That way, everyone can subscribe and belong, but nobody has to 
READ anything, or bother with the DELETE key.
