So can I.  The NC-173 was the forerunner of the famous
NC-183D, and was similar in appearance.  I counted myself
fortunate later on to have an NC-183MR, the military
version.  (It didn't have the 6-meter band, and the
bandspread dial only had a logging scale instead of being
calibrated for the ham bands.)
