Jay's story reminded me of another generator.

One day I got a call at work from my wife who told me that I was getting a
delivery from MARS and asked what to do with it. I said have it left on the
front steps. While I waited, the driver told her the package weight 900
pounds and he did not have a power tail gate. He needed help in unloading.
This was a 5 KW 4 cycle, water cooled machine on a dual I-beam pallet. It
was eventually re-delivered with a different truck.

It served well in test and maintenance, but would not start during hurricane
Gloria. We eventually got another MARS member to take it and bought a new
4KW unit that weights about 140 pounds.
