Thanks, Keith for pointing us to a most interesting website.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading a part of the story I had never heard before.
One of the amateurs here in Ottawa has an Enigma machine, and if you
had made it to the 1996 QCWA convention in Ottawa you would have seen it
as part of the Ottawa Antique Radio Club display.
