Sounds good to me, The name however leaves somewhat of a mark on the
organization. Perhaps you should form a chapter of an organization we
formed here in The Orlando Florida area - SOFAR = Society of Old F*rts in
Amatuer Radio. Our motto is "So Far - So Good!). Half of our membership
(3 of 6) are QCWA members.
We meet on a semi regular basis for a trip to the local surplus parts
emporium (SkyCraft Surplus) followed by lunch and a trip to AES to fondle
the latest in radio gear. On time when one of my wife's friends enquired
where I was on the day one of the SOFAR meetings, she replied that I was
out with my friends "Screwing Around". When the friend pressed for a
deeper explanation of "Screwing Around" she replied - "He goes to the local
surplus place and looks for Screws etc.
Not quite the explanation her friend was fishing for.
