It seems that only those of us who have served on nominating committees
can appreciate how hard it is to get people who are willing to serve! I
go along with what has been said, if you don't like the
one-candidate-for-office setup, get yourself involved in the nominating
process, either by getting someone you favor nominated, or to get
yourself nominated. We nee all the candidates we can get, but sometimes
we can only get one.
