Fellow QCWA Members:

Our QCWA Natl' President, Gary Harrison has been able to change his plans and
attend HamCom after all -- Be sure and stop by and say "Hi" to Gary at the
QCWA table. Or, you might even catch him checking out some of the good buys
at one of the vendor tables --

As you know, this year, HamCom is only on THIS Friday and Saturday. This
presents a golden opportunity to get to know Gary Harrison better:

On SUNDAY, June 9, traveling QCWA Members as well as Members of Chapter 41
and 72, are cordially invited to dine with Gary and Carolyn Harrison and make
some new friends in the process. Spring Creek BBQ is known for it's excellent
Texas-style BBQ as well as great steamin'-hot, all-you-can-eat, delicious
dinner rolls. For those brave enough to do so, there is even hot cobbler
available! Leave your diet at home! We will be having lunch at 12:30 PM at
the following centralized location:

Spring Creek Barbeque
3514 W. Airport Freeway
Irving, TX 75062

(Despite having been warned several times by that popular TV commercial, Gary
Harrison did leave home without his American Express card. Therefore, this
will be Dutch arrangement ---)

DIRECTIONS: For those of you unfamiliar with the Dallas/Ft. Worth area,
Irving is located midway between Dallas and Ft. Worth on Airport Freeway.
"Airport Freeway" is also known as Hwy 183. Approaching Irving from either
the East (Dallas) or the West (Ft. Worth) on Airport Freeway, you will exit
South at Beltline Road. The restaurant is located at the SW corner of the
intersection of Airport Freeway (Hwy 183) and Beltline Road.

NOTE: We hope to see a lot of you there. It would be appreciated if you
could drop me an E-mail ([email protected]) to let me know how many there
will be in your party. I will call the manager so that he can expect our
party -- Or, if you are planning on being at HamCom, you can put your
name/call and the number of people in your party on the Sunday lunch list. If
you sign up via E-mail, there is no need to register at HamCom a second
time!!

73's ---
