[Qcwa] Virus Problems

It is obvious that many on the reflector do not know how a virus is
propagated. 99 and 44/100 percent of the time, as the old Ivory soap
commercial said, a virus is forwarded unknown by the person whose e-mail
address it came from. This Klez virus takes the subject of one e-mail, the
e-mail address from a second e-mail and applies the virus to the
combination and then sends it to a third address. In some cases it is to a
person and in other cases it is to a general reflector such as this
one. Sometimes it is possible to backtrack the origin from the headers on
the message. If you think you have received a virus it is best to delete
the message. Be sure to also delete the attachment which may be stored on
your hard drive. Just deleting the message does not clear the stored copy.
If you do not have an anti-virus program running you should get one at
once. There are some excellent programs you can use and some are even
free just for the time to download them. The one I use, AVG, is a good example
