Bill,

To some extent, I agree with you - I am a bit troubled by all of the ...
what's the word ... nastyness.

But your hatred of Mr. Morse and CW shows us all who needs to grow up. What
the hell is your attitude all about?

I joined this reflector a few months back - after I realized that I"m
finally qualified to be a member. I thought it would be a group who I would
have a lot in common with - 25 years of a wonderful and VERY diverse hobby.

Look what I found!

Anyone want to tell me what the meetings are like?

Let me take Bill's attitude and run with it....

I like CW, SSB and AM. So, those of you who run ANY digital mode (ok,
other than CW), should be restricted to above 902 mHz. SSTV? I don't care
for that mode, it takes up too much spectrum, and it sounds funny - let's
start a movement to get it off the air. EME? With all the concern for RF
fields, no one should be running over 50 watts above 144 mHz.

My point Bill??? You aren't any better than the rest of them, and are
indeed a good example of the problem that you, yourself, pointed out.
