Nice post, Ray,

The problem is not with your post, but the sensitivities of those who read it.

Some are insecure and feel threatened by it. Others take a tongue in check 
attitude. Still others agree and will work to help accomplish the worthwhile 
goals you put forward.

I will quite simply state that I feel my responsibilities, if elected to a 
directorship, will be to each and every member, regardless of whether I agree 
with them or not.

Of course, it is always easier to work for the principles which will advance 
your own personal agendas. But, in all fair\ness, we are elected to represent 
everyone in harmony with what we feel would be the best for the stated 
principles of the QCWA.

I think the scholarship program is one of the better things we, as members, 
can do for the future of amateur radio.

If elected, I will welcome input from you re any or all of the above.
