As a die-hard CW op, I don't understand what the big deal is!  CW, SSB,
RTTY, or PSK-31, it is all Ham Radio!

And Jeff, you are correct, but even thought the code requirement was
lowered, you still have to know it to operate SSB on the HF bands.
