[Qcwa] In my behalf

Agreed Dave:

Many people do not know the difference in a Democracy and a Republic. On=
e is unworkable and the other seems to not represent everyone. But, cons=
idering the fact that our elected body has much more information than man=
y of the general membership, and that most of the general membership will=
not respond to queries, the elected body must make the best possible dec=
isions.

Given the goal of the comments made on the issue, those with different op=
inions are free to go the FCC comment page and file their own. There the=
y can disagree with the organization of which they are members and make a=
ny comments they choose on the NPRM before the commission. That would be=
better than criticizing elected officials over and over. Good healthy d=
iscussion is proper, but I am tired of the continual harping on this issu=
e.

For those of you who don't have the address, here it is:

http://www.fcc.gov/e-file/ecfs.html

Your comments will be given the attention you desire.

I hope you are sending that message to your Senators and your
Congressman since these people routinely do things on your behalf
without consulting you. Your local, county and state representatives do
the same. While I will gladly provide input on an issue which I know is
coming before an elected body, I do not expect these folks to query me
before every vote on an issue. I likewise do not expect that every vote
will go the way I want it to go. I am free to express my displeasure
over a decision or to express agreement for a decision I like. I'm also
free to vote for someone else during the next election.

Why do we expect different behavior on the part of our elected QCWA
board?
