[PVRCNC] PVRC-NC Chapter Hybrid Zoom Meeting, Thursday June 4, 2026

Our June meeting will be headlined with a short talk from KU4V, Wayne
Starnes, who will pass along knowledge and tips he has learned from years
of VHF & digital contesting.



Also, allow me to pass along a couple of reminders of things happening
prior to our chapter meeting:

-          This upcoming weekend 5/30 – 5/31 is our next 5M contest, CQ WPX
CW.  This is traditionally a popular event for PVRC members.

-          The PVRC president has declared CQ WPX CW to be a double 5M
point event.

-          I also wish to remind everyone that the following weekend,
6/6-67 is the ARRL Digital contest – another 5M contest.

-          In case you missed it, NR4O is on the front cover of the
June/July NCJ operating from the “Corn Crib”, AG4TT.



As normal our June NC Chapter meeting will be a hybrid in-person / Zoom
meeting.  For those local to the Raleigh/Cary area we plan to meet, as
usual, at Hickory Tavern.  We will try to be there an online shortly after
5:30pm with the official program starting at 6pm.  Looking forward to
seeing you there.
