Thanks for the update.
Re your questions.
#1 - Holiday Party. I vote NO; Jim summed up the reasons well. I am
already finding it hard enough to work in a December trip to the beach for
the ARRL 10M Contest. On top of the normal December activities, my
daughter-in-law and the twin grandsons have birthdays in December.
#2 - Since COVID we do not eat out often enough to provide any
recommendations. Someone had mentioned Milton's Pizza. It's a great place
but not sure if they have a totally closed off room for parties. My family
has eaten there for over 30 years and have always enjoyed their lunch
buffets more than the evening menu meals. Might be a great place for an
informal weekend lunch gathering for a small group.
#3 - I have no problem with a room fee if it meets all of our needs.
