PVRCNCers:

The discussion over the past few days in response to Bill's questions
brought back to me an old similar story that (I hope) will amuse. Here ya
go:

Years ago, there was a bunch of hams who got together occasionally for
lunch. They decided to create a radio club with regular monthly meetings.
Sooo, they discussed and discussed and finally decided to meet at a local
restaurant. They discussed and discussed and finally settled on a new
restaurant, the "Hofbrau Gugelhupf" that had excellent menu reviews and a
private dining room.

It was a big success! The club prospered and grew. After ten years
membership had fallen off, and they decided to consider a change. Sooo,
they discussed and discussed. Finally they decided to go to the Hofbrau
Gugelhupf, because it had close-in parking and no stairs.

Another ten years went by. Membership had fallen off, and they decided to
consider a change. Sooo, they discussed and discussed. Finally they decided
to go to the Hofbrau Gugelhupf, because they had an early bird special and
valet parking.

Another ten years went by. Membership had fallen off, and they decided to
consider a change. Sooo, they discussed and discussed. Finally they decided
to go to the Hofbrau Gugelhupf, because nobody could remember that they had
been there before.
