WRTC 2026 Tent Sponsorship - Donations requested

     At our May meeting we discussed PVRC sponsorship for WRTC 2026.

     The club is sponsoring three tents for this upcoming WRTC.  The cost
will be ~1,500 per tent for a total of about ~4,500.  The cost is fixed and
expressed in British Pounds.  Our final cost will vary somewhat based on
the exchange rate on the day we make payment.

     There are two critical dates involved.  The first was requesting and
getting approval for our requested tents.  That was 27 April.  We were
approved for our requests tends.  One was NA-2 which we expect will have at
least one PVRC member.  The second is in the caribbean where a PVRC member
has a competitive station in 8P.  The third is for a youth tent.  That date
has passed and we're good to go.

     The second key date is 27 May when we have to pay for our tent
sponsorship.  That's only two weeks and a couple of days away.

     As you all know, PVRC has no dues.  We ask that those of you who can
afford a donation, however large or small it may be,  kindly  reach into
your pockets and donate to this cause.

    Please do so in the next week if at all possible.  The easiest way to
donate is to go to the PVRC web site and hit the donate button.  You can
use PayPal.  Please mark your donation with your call sign and annotate the
notes to say :  For WRTC 2026 donation.
