Another one bites the dust.....

Always fun in hindsight.  An overnight raid on the campsite left sandy squirrel footprints all over the operating table, but no real damage done.  Antennas all cooperated.  Enjoyed knowing I was not the biggest lid in the not-a-contest-its-an-operating-event

Still operating on little sleep.  Got a solid 8 hours of sleep Friday night, but still turned in early saturday night.
Probably lost out on 40m, but an early night was planned, and never set up the 80m antenna despite having plenty of time friday and saturday morning to do it.  10m is the new 6m.......beginning to think "why bother".
:(

Comments:

Raw score plus 200 bogus points = 1170

Had fun sweating at campsite for a few days fending off squirrel raiders and
swarming waspish insect types.  Surprisingly less trouble with ants this year.

15m sounded really good Friday afternoon and was good Saturday.  Not as much
luck
Sunday, but 20m provided.  Not much campground QRN, bands sounded good.
re-thinking antennas again given the lack of 10m.
All together, a very nice FD again.
tnx fer qsos de w4kaz
