PNRC-NC Monthly Meeting 1 August 2024 6 PM!

PVRC-NC invites you to our regularly scheduled August Hybrid Zoom meeting
on Thursday evening 1 August 2024 at 6 PM EDST.

Our monthly meeting took a vacation break in July.  It had a good time and
is now back for our enjoyment and edification.  July has been an
interesting month, with high temperatures and humidity.  That, along with
the frustrations of normal summer HF conditions, a sunspot peak with
amazing HF propagation interrupted by sudden HF blackouts, and a really
poor 6M sporadic E season make this a fun month.

Now it's time for us to get together, cry in our beers about the mults that
got away, brag about our successes, and make our plans for the 2024 - 2025
PVRC contest year.  To help kick this year off, our PVRC President, Doug
AA3S, will be our guest speaker this month.

This year's contest season first 5M contest is this coming Saturday - the
CW NAQP.  Let's get on and get the contest year going!

Lastly, lest we forget, we are still short in donations for the WRTC tents
we have sponsored.  Please dig into your pockets and help out.
