“I do have to make one negative comment. Yes, I like pile-ups and I also like to work through the pile-ups. What I do not like is when I try to pull out a call by sending a partial call or perhaps even one letter, most of callers just continue to send their call that does not resemble the partial I sent. The rate goes to hell and, unfortunately, some of the, better behaved callers leave. 
Who knows if they ever come back. If stations without the partial call letters would STOP calling, I could work through the complete pile-up much faster and everyone would benefit.”

Ideal conditions make pileups bigger which also adds to the load on the run station. I tried everything to control these rude callers mostly to no avail. Trying to work a rare mult with this dude repeatedly sending his unrelated call. Often a string of dits followed by the partial helps. In that case I sent his call and “SHUT UP” He did!
As SO unassisted and a forlorn hope to place Classic Overlay I recorded my audio per WW rules. I wish these lids could hear themselves and me trying to work through them. Oh well, as they say in Ireland,
