Yes it is annoying from the S&Per's standpoint...been there done that.
However, from the runners standpoint (my recent NCQP effort), after 2-plus
hours of 100+ rate, I found my voice fading, so I started going for several
QSOs without IDing. Yes, there were those that then asked "your call". I
would then give my call on the next QRZ. Luckily, the rate slowed down and
I was able to ID after every QSO.
Nate, do you have any hints on how to keep your voice during long runs?
