PVRC-NC invites you to a scheduled Hybrid-Zoom meeting.

Where: Hickory Tavern at 1156 Parkside Main St Cary, NC 27519  - or via Zoom
Why:  It's the holiday season.  We're contesters.  What more do we need?

The first half of our active contest is at a hiatus, and so are the great
atmospheric conditions we know, love, and expect at this stage of the
sunspot cycle.  Christmas is a couple of days away and the New Year starts
in less than two weeks. We do have the Stew Perry contest coming up to
welcome the New Year.  Then things really pick up quickly.  Our PVRC-NC
monthly meeting is two weeks from today.  That weekend the second half of
our contest season starts up with a vengeance.  Here's hoping that
conditions improve at the same rate.

The ARRL RTTY Round-up comes first - right after this meeting.  Soon
afterwards is the CW NAQP.  To help us all get ready for the RTTY RU, Eric
NR4O is going to host a RTTY RU presentation.  He will present a Powerpoint
slide show discussing RTTY N1MM+ and MMTTY software setup and operation and
operating RTTY contests.  His presentation will include a Q&A period.  If
you are a newcomer to RTTY you really need to get in on this.

With the NAQP CW contests soon to follow, we will also present the CW audio
that Jim K4QPL recorded at VP5M.  That may not get your blood boiling, but
it certainly will make you want to get back to your CW practice routine.

So, mark your calendars, and, if local, come on down and attend in person.
If you are too far away for that to be practicable, join us via zoom.  Hope
