Mid December Thoughts

     Here we are - the middle of December.  The contest season is at a
lull, DX-Peditions are home for the holidays, and meanwhile the holiday
season is rushing towards a peak.  We're packing our cars and bags for our
trips or maybe getting ready for an onslaught of relatives coming here for
the holidays.  We're just realizing that it is almost too late to ship
presents anywhere. And, at least one of us is starting to think about
Christmas shopping.

     This is a perfect time to sit back, reflect, and realize what a
wonderful time of year this is.  And to take the time to wish everyone the
happiest holiday season ever.  I hope your stockings are full and that
Santa brings you and your families everything you deserve.  And that your
New Year celebration is both safe and happy.

     In that vein, New Year's eve is the time for your resolutions for
2024.  Please add one more resolution to your list - resolve to attend the
PVRC-NC Chapter monthly meetings in person.
