Weird sort of luck. I started the "Happy Hour and Dinner Break" at 2207 and
only got back on about 2353 so I was unaware and missed all the fun and
games of the solar flare. QSB was still there as was QRN on 80. Also funny,
less QRN on 160 than 80 although not much activity and I don't have a great
signal. 10M was non-existent and 15 was spotty which I attributed to my
tribander that doesn't play well there. 40 was the usual money band with 80
and 20M close behind. Good scatter on 20 to DelMarVA. I found frequent band
changes mixed in with mult hunting S&P kept the overall rate decent for my
one-radio 6 hr part time effort. Even had a couple ten minute rates around
200 reminiscent of VP5. Just didn't last 10 hours!
