[PVRCNC] PVRC-NC Monthly Meetings

Gents,

     September got off to a good start this year with last night's PVRC-NC
East meeting to kick off the month.  Smaller turn out than hoped  for but
with enough attendees both in person and on-line to make it lively and
fun.

     We even were able to work an ATNO - member that is.  We voted in Dean
Bidgood, WT4A, who lives in Hillsborough.  This was Dean's second PVRC
meeting.  His first was with the Colonial Chapter.  I'd ask you all to
welcome Dean but I don't have his contact info yet so we'll have to wait
until next month.

     On the technical side, our arrangement to do hybrid Zoom meetings has
worked out well.  It really is fun to have a bunch of us in person along
with other PVRCers joined in via Zoom.  The question came up...   Why
bother doing an every other month Zoom meeting when we can do both
each month?  Well, why not?

     So, starting next month (October 6) and continuing on let's plan on
doing Hybrid Zoom meetings every month.  I have scheduled the private room
at the Hickory Tavern in Cary for the next three months.

     You all are more than welcome to join via the Zoom.  But, if you can,
please come in person.  Seeing everyone in person makes the meetings that
much more fun.
