[PVRCNC] May Mid Month Memory 'Minder

All,

     Just a gentle reminder that PVRC-NC will hold our first post-Covid
in-person at 6PM 2 June 2022.  For those of us who live too far away to
reasonably attend we will attempt a simultaneous Zoom meeting as well.

     Now the details.
      What:  The first PVRC NC in-person meeting since Covid started
      When:  6 PM 2 June 2022.  Earlybirds welcome at 5 PM.
       Where: Hickory Tavern 1156 Parkside Main St, Cary, NC 27519
       Who:   Any PVRC member anywhere
       Why:   Why not?

     I know that we're concerned that we don't do anything that would
preclude us meeting again and again.  We don't know what Covid will do.
Disappear I hope.  It could come back with a vengeance.  To minimize the
risk, I ask that any of us who have *not been vaccinated* skip the
in-person part of this meeting and instead join us via the concurrent Zoom
meeting.

     The Hickory Tavern does have wifi.  I will be bringing a laptop with
an external monitor and powered speakers for the Zoom call.  I don't know
how good the wifi is.  If we have bandwidth issues, we'll ask Zoom
participants to join the Zoom meeting via telephone to minimize those
issues.  I'll publish the Zoom login info prior to the meeting.

     Between the Dayton (Zenia) Hamfest and the CW WPX contest we should
have some great stories to tell.

     I hope we have a big turnout for this meeting.  This will be our first
meeting at this place and a big turnout will go a long way with making
friends with the Hickory Tavern.
