Comments:

Portable operation using commercial power at vacation beach house in
Atlantic
Beach, NC.  Inspired by a W4MYA RUN'EM sticker...40 and 20 contacts were
mostly from slow runs, 80 was mostly S&P.  The runs generated a lot of weak
stations calling, which required multiple repeats.  Inexperienced operators
were frequent, with a lot waiting to call just before the DVR repeated.
Yes...I'm guilty, for responding "Copy 1B NC".  It seemed to reduce the
number of requested repeats from me.  After the exhaustion of setting up
the antennas Saturday morning in hot humid conditions I had to call it
quits early that night. I need to go back and review the set-up rules for a
portable operation. Sunday morning found that there was not as much
activity.

Radio: Elecraft K3+/100 with Heil HC-4 mic
Antennas: Elevated (9 ft) end-fed half-wave vertical on 10, 15 & 20,
inverted-L on
40 (PAR EF QUAD) on 43 ft fiberglass pole. End-fed half-wave Inverted-L on
80
(PAR EF-80) on 50 ft carbon fiber pole.
