Soapbox, Thanks to Bill K3WA for getting 6 meters to open up on Sunday.
This was the first time I have used FT8 or FT4 for contesting. I expected to operate SSB but everyone was up the band on digital. I used my regular logging program for logging. I also used JTAlert with the WSJT software. JTAlert has a B4 next to the stations already worked, so that worked fine for dup checking. On Saturday, I went to a QCWA meeting and got a late start on the contest. My second contact at 22:49 UTC was with JA7MSQ.
Rig for six, Yaesu FTdx101MP with Elecraft KPA1500, two 5 ele beams stacked.
For two, ICOM IC-275H and a M2, 9 element beam.
I bought the 275H a few months ago. I was concerned about burning out the front end of it when running high power on six.  I did a measurement and put a pass thru dummy load on the 2-meter coax in the shack and connected that to an oscilloscope. When transmitting full power on six, there was six volts p-p on the dummy load.  To reduce that I added a Comet triplexer.CFX-514J,  It has 55 dB of isolation. When I checked the signal with the triplexer the scope showed no signal as expected.
