[PVRCNC] PVRC NC 5 January 2023 Hybrid Zoom Meeting

Folks,

     It is hard to believe that 2022 is almost over and that we're planning
our first meeting for next year.
     2022 was a very eventful year for PVRC-NC.  We started out doing Zoom
meetings only.  There were very few multi-op operations and most of those
were contesters using remote capabilities rather than doing things
face-to-face.  As Covid became less of a threat, the Dayton hamvention took
place.  By summer we started in-person PVRC NC in-person meetings then
migrated to hybrid Zoom meetings to support attendance by Chapter members
who lived too far away to reasonably attend in person.
     Now the 2022 contest season has effectively ended with last weekend's
10 meter contest.  Only the Stew Perry contest remains.  Our thoughts are
turning to family and the holiday season, and decorating our homes and
towers in celebration.
     So...   I wish you all and your families, even those of you who don't
live in North Carolina, the happiest possibile holiday season and extend
that into 2023.
     To get that started, I'm pleased to announce that our first chapter
meeting in the new year will be on Thursday, 5 January.  We should hear
some great stories about the December contests and maybe even some stories
about the new ham gear that Santa got for you.
     Here's the details:

PVRC-NC invites you to our scheduled January 2023 chapter hybrid-Zoom
meeting.  This meeting will be a combination of an in-person meeting for
local members and a Zoom meeting for the rest of PVRC.  Zoom attendees BYOB.

When:  Thursday 5 January 2023.  The meeting starts at 6:00 PM.  Early
birds welcome at 5:30 PM.
Where:  The Hickory Tavern at 1156 Parkside Main St Cary, NC 27519.  Or via
Zoom.
