Please save the date of Saturday, November 13, to join in a celebration of life for Will, AA4NC, who you all know was tragically killed in a plane crash. Will was known worldwide as a contester, a DXpeditioner, a mentor, a musician, and a hell of a great guy to be around. His quick wit and wry humor could make anyone smile, even at their own expense.The location: Grey Goose Farm, 1153 Dutchville Drive, Creedmoor, NC. Very convenient to I-85 north of Durham, NC 50 from Raleigh.Time: From about noon until everyone leaves. Will would have liked it that way!  Jon's "man cave" upstairs in the barn features a bar and pool table for those who want to hang out.  What: Catered pork and chicken barbecue with vegetarian options. Cost:  TBA but we'll try to be as economical as possible. Jon, my son, is making the farm available free. Additions since we had FD there include a gazebo with a large fire pit if the weather is cool. We'll move into the barn (no livestock, just horsepower stuff) or rent a marquee if it rains. We'll try to throw up a special event station for guest operators.Accommodation: We welcome visitors from all chapters, day trip or overnight. Butner Best Western just a few miles away. Other hotels around Raleigh and Durham. No hookups but plenty of space for RV's or camping. Bathroom in the barn.We will have a big screen TV set up so please bring any videos or photos featuring Will you can share with the group.More info to follow.You're not locked in, but we would like to have an idea how many will attend for planning purposes.
