Another reminder  for the special meeting and celebration on this
coming Saturday. The weather forecast has improved to what we expect will
be a great day. At the risk of repetition, the following are the details
for this important event:

Please join in a celebration of life for Will, AA4NC, who you all know
was tragically killed in a plane crash. Will was known worldwide as a
contester, a DXpeditioner, a mentor, a musician, and a hell of a great
guy to be around. His quick wit and wry humor could make anyone smile, even
at their own expense.

WHEN: From noon until the last person leaves.

WHERE: Grey Goose Farm, 1153 Dutchville Drive, Creedmoor, NC

(Very convenient to I-85 north of Durham, NC 50 from Raleigh). There will
be a nice fire in the fire pit, shelter in the huge garage if needed, Hang
out in Jon's "Man Cave" with big screen TV, pool table and bar. Walk off
your meal around the farm. Bathroom in the barn.

WHAT: Grilled hamburgers, (Beef and Veggie) and grilled chicken breasts,
with fixins', sides and non-alcoholic drinks. Create your own "Cheeseburger
in Paradise" a la Jimmy Buffett.

WHAT ELSE: ************* Mike, N4GU will be setting up a special PVRC
virtual meeting starting at 2 p.m. so all PVRC'ers can join in the

Other joyful tributes and remembrances are welcome.

WHAT TO BRING:   Bring a lawn chair and Adult beverages if desired in your
own cooler. For liability reasons, we can't provide or serve but hey, you
seldom saw Will without a Blue Moon or similar in his hand.

COST. It's free, but a $10 per person contribution is requested. Cash jar
will be on hand.

COVID: It's outdoors, lots of space for distancing, and we try to keep
everything clean. We hope you are all among the smart, vaccinated people.
