Yes. That’s a good economical board. For full isolation of a 3 element SteppIR it takes an effective 12PDT switch. Since the controller leaves voltage on the motors for braking purposes you can’t ground just 6. And since “same” can only work once in each group it requires six groups to get twelve poles that will switch simultaneously. Hence it requires an expansion board.
